A: in a weissbier glass it pours a dark reddish-amber hue, with a tight, frothy off-white beer head dissipating at snail's pace... elegant, slowly-ascending mini-bubbles detected.
S: a mildly sour, lemony hop aroma lies low but firm, with a very mild caramel-maltiness (much milder than the suspiciously-identical "Union Beer" on tap) upfront; after swirling an underlying banana-like fruity aroma reveals along with a refreshing and elegant vanilla note. Overall refreshing and soft, but the nuanced aromatic stuffs are a bit overly understated.
T: a smooth, even creamy, palate of semi-caramel malty flavour going hand-in-hand with a lightly sour fruity hoppyness, leading to a mildly bitter-sweetness with some bready texture of malts sustaining at the back. Pleasant, but overly simple and restrained, not nearly as good as the same brewery's Union Beer on tap.
M&D: refreshing, and smooth... but the finishing touch is a bit sticky, thus slightly compromising the overall above-average mouthfeel. O.K. beer. Compared with the Union Beer (on tap), this one is overall too restrained; I suspect there must be some more difference in addition to the ways in which they're served...

Appearance: amber to dark brown, good clarity, thin layer of off-white bubbles, poor head retention
Aroma: inviting toasty maltiness, Digestive biscuits, crisp hoppiness, hint of caramel, clean aroma
Flavor: mild sweetness, rich malt backbone that is heavy on the toasty Vienna malt characteristics, slightly tangy, herbally hop flavor and just enough bitterness to balance, finishes dry with an aftertaste of malt, caramel and a grassy bitterness
Mouthfeel: medium-light body, fine carbonation, crisp texture
Overall impression: Quite surprised by this supermarket-commissioned beer. They obviously chose a quality brewery for this marketing scheme. Nice beer. Easier to get this than my other favorite Vienna lager: Negra Modelo.

Pours with a dark amber, brown body, foamy tan head, decent retention
Smell, strong hoppy aroma, biscuity malty aroma
Taste, malty thick body, nice hop bitterness, floral hoppy finish, nice malty biscuity finish
A suprisingly nice lager, definatly drinkable and I can see myself buying this again

Pours a dark amber to ruby colour with an off-white head.
Aroma is of red berries, black cherries, cut grass and a slight watery note.
Taste is strange - almost like black treacle. A dry cranberry note, with raspberries and a slight hoppy character.
Spicy finish, quite bubbly. Mouthfeel is good, nice and drinkable.
