On-tap at the Old Red Cow.
A: Cloudy mahogany body with a thin tan ehad that settles into a ring. No lace. Mediocre.
S: Clove, chocolate, banana, wheat, and chalky minerality. I'm not a huge fan.
T: Spicy clove, almost sour wheat, a touch of banana, and a dry, chalky finish. Nothing special.
M: Very lively, smooth medium body. Nice.
O: This one has all the elements you'd expect in a Dunkelweizen, but they just seem muted and unpleasant. It's not terrible, but it really pales in comparison to the best German examples. No better than average for the style.
