A: Poured from the 330mL bottle into a pint glass. The beer is a dark rusty red color with a light tan foamy head that sticks around a long time with a lot of lacing on the sides of the glass. The beer is advertised as being a "single citra hop beer."
S: Surprisingly balanced, with a sweet biscuity malt up front, but then a lot of floral hop following that. A bit of fruitiness in there as well.
T: Malty at first actually with lots of biscuit, and then comes the happiness, floral, sappy, and lightly fruity with a bit of series. Not much citrus in there, but a good balanced profile.
F: Silky smooth, with just a hint of dryness at the end.
Overall: I was really pleasantly surprised by this beer, not just for its balanced nature but because of how well it hides its ABV. This is a good flavorful IPA, and a real treat from a Chinese brewer.
