L: Had this beer on-tap at Third Street Brewing Company, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark, reddish brown color and a cloudy consistency. There was a 3/4", foamy, long-lasting head. Pretty good lacing.
S: A good, but not great aroma of Belgian yeast, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and hops.
T: Tasted of mild hops (not a big component), light citrus notes (orange, in particular), an odd metallic flavor, some brettanomyces, and a little dark fruit (raisins). This is one of those odd flavors. At certain points it seems underwhelming, and other times not. The metallic quality is a real head scratcher. Still, it has good points.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: This is definitely an uneven beer, but one worth checking out.
