L: Had this beer on-tap at Third Street Brewing Company, poured into a snifter glass. Had a dark brown / black color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a half inch of foamy, tan-colored, long-lasting head. Average lacing.
S: A good, but not great, aroma of bourbon, malt, chocolate, vanilla, and cinnamon.
T: Tasted of a bit of bourbon (much less than expected), light vanilla notes, some chocolate (could've used more), a tinge of brown sugar, light cinnamon, and some malt as well. A much different flavor than expected. It's sweeter and less boozy than your typical BBS. Could've used a little more oomph with most of the ingredients.
F: A below average amount of carbonation with a smooth finish. Medium-bodied.
O: An uneven beer, but it has its good qualities. Worth a look.
