L: Poured from a crowler to a snifter glass. Had a muddy / murky, medium brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, off white, fairly long-lasting head. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: An underwhelming aroma of hops, malt, citrus fruit, tropical fruit, and caramel.
T: Tasted of a mild amount of tropical fruit (mango, it would seem), a fair amount of malt (more than expected, especially for a DIPA), some hops (not overdone, though), a bit of citrus fruit (lemon, in particular), and light caramel notes. Like the aroma, the flavor's pretty underpowered. Needed a boost in all its ingredients.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp, almost dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A wildly uneven beer. It has some good qualities, but doesn't quite make it.
