A juicy Pale Ale from a Virginia Brewer. Poured from a 16 oz can into a pint glass, this beer featured a hazy yellow color, almost clear on the first pour, much more hazy after that. The foamy white head was fairly large on a hard pour, with better than average retention and some lacing on the glass. Aroma and taste were more subtle than most IPA's which is fitting for a Pale Ale. Orange, pineapple and a little sweet peach syrup were the primary flavors noted. Mouthfeel was light, crisp and mildly bitter. Lots of fruit flavor but not necessarily a "juice bomb" on the tongue. I'm not that familiar with the hops used, but this was a good brew that stood up well with my short-ribs dinner.
