Sandbag is an American Pale Ale with mellow yeast and sweet flavors from the caramel malts with a nice, mild hop finish. The craft beer is brewed to an ABV of 5.5% and 40 IBU to commemorate the Ohio River Flood of 2018.

Single 16oz can from the brewery.
Deep golden color, initially a very clear appearance but when you shake up the last part in the can it pours out with yeast sediments much like it is with Hefeweizen. I am not used to that with a Pale Ale. To no surprise, it has an elevated yeast note in aroma and taste. Even a vigorous pour produced just a finger thick head that dissipated in seconds but nice spotty lacing formed with every sip. Sweet, caramel notes and a mild pine hop character. Light carbonation, soft mouthfeel.
