This double (2) IPA is our third (3) beer that was single (1) hopped with Strata. 2+3+1 that's 6, quick maths! One sip of this DIPA will make your tongue go skrrrahh, pap, pap, ka-ka-ka, skidiki-pap-pap, and a pu-pu-pudrrr-boom, skaya, du-du-ku-dun-dun, poom, poom! Man's got hops!

Part of their Market Series.
Appearance - Pours a copper with three fingers of frothy white head.
Smell - piney, earthy, citrus, leafy, and floral hops, citrus and grapefruit peel, pine resin, caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast.
Taste - bold piney, earthy, citrus, leafy, and floral hops upfront. The citrus and grapefruit peel alongside the pine resin come through next. The caramel, bready malts, and earthy yeast round out the brew.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes sticky with the pine resin and citrus and grapefruit peel lingering.
Overall - A pleasant true west coast IPA that delivers on the pine and grapefruit peel. I like the bitterness from the hops; although some may not like the level of bitterness from the hops that this brew displays but well worth a try. The parka on the cover is a glimpse into the weather that is coming our way in the next few days.
