Ever soaked pineapple in bourbon? No? Cool, we did it for you. Pineapple on the nose with bourbon and vanilla strong on the palate. It’s okay to fall in love.

500 ml bottle, bottled on 10/28/19, purchased at the taproom a few weeks ago. Served in a Pretentious Barrel House tulip, the beer pours a clear reddish/amber color with about an inch off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a small amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like pineapple, vanilla, bourbon, oak, and some citrus. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some tart pineapple and bready malt flavors noticeable too. If there's such a thing as a sour pineapple upside-down cake, it would probably taste like this. Barrel character is there but not strong. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's coating and easy to drink with a good amount of soft carbonation. I liked this a lot, but then I like pineapple too. If you're into fruited sours then this is for you!
