500 ml bottle, bottled 11/24/20, purchased at Crooked Handle. Served in a Pretentious Barrel House chalice, the beer pours a purple color with about an inch or so pink/off-white head. Head retention is good and there's a decent amount of lacing. I like the aroma, the brew smells like boysenberries, blackberries, oak, red/wine grapes and some earthiness. Taste is pretty much like the aroma, but there's also some blackberry jam and tart dark fruit flavors noticeable too. Leans more tart than sweet, starts off tart then the sweet flavors show up more in the finish. Mouthfeel/body is light/medium, it's a bit slick and easy to drink with a good amount of carbonation. I liked this one, certainly worth a try!
