A perfect blend of dark and light roast coffees from our friends at One Line Coffee. The aroma is literally a pot of coffee while the flavor is delicate with notes of berries and stone fruit. You can sneak this into work, it’s fine.

Served in a snifter
This beer pours dark brown. Garnet highlights are visible when held to a light. It is topped with a fleeting head.
I get the coffee and chocolate right when I pour it. I get a great sour aroma. Almost like a Flanders brown but not as vinegary. More pungent sourness than a Flanders too.
Once again, I get the coffee and chocolate right away. the sourness begins to come through and grows in intensity with each sip. The coffee is relegated to the background while the chocolate all but disappears. I get sour cherry and plum flavors. It is not quite vinegary, but I get a little balsamic vinegar-ish flavor. It is sour, not tart, which I love.
Medium to thin bodied with a dry mouthfeel
My first Pretentious beer. I like it a lot. Great sourness. Interesting adjuncts. I better make a trek to the brewery.
