Bottle: Poured a hazy reddish color lambic with a nice large pink foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fresh strawberry/raspberry and blackberry notes with some nice jammy notes with some tart and light funk ester notes. Taste is also a great mix of fresh tart raspberry/strawberry and blackberry notes reminiscent of jam. Body is pretty full with good carbonation. Solid fruited lambic with strong jammy notes, which I Ioved.

Bottle at share. Cloudy amber pour with a one finger white foamy head. Aroma is a toss up between berries and yeasty funk. Taste features the wild funk up front, tartness and strawberries and raspberries providing a nice finishing touch. Tart, sweet, funky, fruity.

Bottle gushed even after pouring two small glasses, which were all foam. Intense carbonation kicked up all the yeast, and the beer was a hazy orange. Plenty of sticky foam to go around.

Aroma was sort of subdued, maybe a little muddled strawberry or raspberry but the fruit character wasn’t very expressive. Brett and musty rag aromas.

Taste was tart and tangy with the Brett somewhat prevalent. Fruit was kind of a muddled mess with nothing standing out, without much depth either. Rapid, coarse carbonation, effervescent and medium bodied due to all the suspended sediment.

Overall this was my least favorite from Lambiek Fabriek, needs more fruit and a bit of fine tuning to rise to the level of their other fruited lambics.

Thank you Brian.

Explosively carbonated, this nearly gushes all over the table, leaving a hazy light orange beer with a large head. The nose is fruity with raspberry jam, lots of seed, red currant and a light strawberry note. Some mild funk. The palate opens grainy with some wheat to go with the mild fruity flavor. Bright berries, though surprisingly reserved. Raspberry seed is the most prominent flavor, followed by red currant, a little strawberry and maybe some blueberry bonce the carbonation dies down, this ends up being a little watery. Decent.

Pinky orange, off-white foam, good.
In the smell raspberry, blackberry, cherry, wild strawberry. Sour and pleasant.
Fresh fruit taste, delicate tartness, strawberry and raspberry over all.
Mayba a tad sweet, but good.
Red fruit mix, smooth, clean sourness.
Maybe a bit "easy", but well, ok.

A 750ml corked and capped bottle, bottled in August 2020, with a best before date of bottled date + 5 years. Poured into a 3 Fonteinen stemmed glass.

Appearance: A slightly hazy pinkish orange colour with a two fingered white head that had decent retention but eventually settled to a nice fluffy cap, while leaving lots of nice lacing.

Aroma: Mixed berries, lemon zest, light funk.

Taste: Lightly sour and tart, mixed berries, with strawberry really coming through. Lemon juice, oak, and light funk.

Mouthfeel: Medium to light bodied with moderate to soft carbonation.

Overall: Aroma and flavours are quite subtle, as the fruit and funkiness while there, seemed a bit toned down compared to other fruit lambics. Having said that, I still found it enjoyable.
