Brassy tone with a haze of white grape throughout, carb trails visible when pouring that soon taper off. A finger of foam fades rapidly as well.
Lots of alternating aromas, first there’s a pulpy grapefruit and tropical papaya funk, later a lemon-lime-orange calamansi fruit. Very unique.
Pink grapefruit, tropical papaya funk, a touch of tomato vine. These grapes are pretty unique and lend their expressive character to the base lambic. Earthy dry aftertaste.
Spritzy carbonation, could use a touch more but it’s fine as it is. Will revisit in the Spring to see if it attenuates further.
Overall this is excellent, Solaris is a Belgian-grown grape and it's well showcased here. Looking forward to more Druivenlambiek from Lambiek Fabriek.
