Pours a crystal clear light copper color with a tight cream colored head. Settles into a light creamy cap.
The aroma is of lightly sweet grain and some grassy and light pine hops. Some metallic notes.
The taste is of leafy hops, a sort of fresh note to them. It is a light leafy pine, not sure how else to describe. Not citrus, not bitter pine. A pleasant herbal hop profile. Sweet caramel notes from the malt with a hint of pennies.
Excellent balance to this beer. Lightly sweet malt combined with a slightly bitter herbal hop. Moderate mouthfeel with fizzy carbonation; finishes slightly bitter and dry. 6.6% ABV well hidden.
This is such a well balanced IPA. Everything has its place. Nothing is overpowering. It highlights the malt, it highlights the hops and drinks extremely well.

Nice hoppy offering that’s got a solid malty base which shows the biscuit and bread crust to balance the citrus notes. Crisp mouthfeel that has a medium bitterness level.

Decanted from an 16 oz (473 ml) can into a conical pint glass; no production information.
A: Pours a hazy, copper-amber color with ochre highlights, an off-white, less than one finger head, barely rim retention, and no lacing to speak of.
S: Aromas of cracker, toffee, caramel, pepper, and apricot. Mineral (iron filings) and earthy.
T: Dry. Caramel, toffee, pepper and raisin predominate. Solid bitterness which lingers into mild peppery aftertaste.
M: Medium bodied with no more than moderate carbonation. Refreshing and easy drinking.
O: This reminds me a good bit more of an English Bitter or, at least, IPA, although the brewery does characterize it as an American IPA. That said, it is very drinkable and would please drinkers that cleave to those styles.

A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high frothy beige head that has good retention properties and only died down a bit.
S: Moderate aromas of caramel malts, herbal hops, and spicy hops are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of caramel and toffee malts with strong notes of underlying spicy hops that contribute a moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very good balance between the malts and hops in the taste. It is a nice version of an old school IPA.
Serving type: crowler

A: Pours a clear medium copper in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of fine active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and faint honey + medium golden yellow colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall foamy off-white head that reduces to a large patch of thin film covering the entire surface of the beer and a thin ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Moderate aromas of bready + toasted + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness underneath slightly stronger than moderate aromas of spicy + herbal + citrus/orange zest hops.
T: Upfront there are moderate flavors of bready + toasted + caramel malts with a light to moderate amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by slightly stronger than moderate flavors of spicy + herbal + citrus/orange zest hops which impart a just shy of moderate amount of lingering aggressive bitterness.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Crisp with a hint of dryness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol and a pleasant "old school" style to the IPA - more malty and more aggressively bitter. Enjoyable.
