On tap at the brewery. Apparently not “retired”.
Pours up dark and rich, taste of chocolate, coffee and bourbon, a hint of licorice, very nice. Alcohol is also fairly predominant. A good sipping beer.

Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with a thin mocha head that leaves no lacing.
It has a nice coffee aroma. Dark chocolate and vanilla come out a little as it warms.
It has a strong coffee flavor. I get some dark chocolate and hints of vanilla. There is black coffee bitterness in the finish.
Medium bodied with a smooth mouthfeel
Eastern Market is my go to Detroit brewery. They make some tasty beer. This is no exception. It is a good all around coffee stout.
