Pours a cloudy pink with a finger of white foam that chases this draft all the way down the pint glass. Nose is sour base, lemon, and biscuit. Taste tells a different story of a freshly fried Fat Tuesday Treat. The first flavor I pick up is a sweet raspberry jelly, followed up with an authentic Bavarian cream, finishing a bready fried donut dusted with powdered sugar. The feel of this is full but not quite smoothie thick and there is no fruit purée in the finished beer. Overall, I loved it. Perfect treat for this time of year.
