Poured from a can at fridge temp. Pours black with light brown head. The Nose is coffee grounds, roasted malts, dark chocolate, oak, vanilla, and a light toffee note. The taste kind of follows the nose, but with a stronger influence of bitter dark malts. A bit of wood spice, vanilla, nice coffee, and lots of dark chocolate. Some figs coming through, and a bit of leather. The mouthfeel is fairly creamy. Overall, a really nice Irish Stout.
