such a neat project, an iced tea pale ale type and a sour lemonade inspired beer, both good on their own but better in a blend maybe for the summer. this one is the lemonade arm, sour and made like a berliner from what i can gather, low alcohol and cleanly tart, with a defined wheat malt base and a lemony tang from both real lemons i would think and a bacterial thing that resonates at the same level. i dont need the lactose here, there is enough grain sugar without it, and while i like the creaminess it adds, its too much when blended with the iced tea one, and it limits drinkability for this one on its own, not a balance to the sour at all but a body addition thats out of place and an extender that is unwelcome for my palate. the lemon is strong but tastes fresh squeezed and natural, while the bacteria element stays mellow. overall a cool beer, i think by themselves i like the iced tea one a little beer as an all day drinker, but together they are excellent. this one sort of needs the blend i think, almost like a concentrate...
