this isnt its own thing, but rather a blend of an iced tea pale type and a sour lemon ale with lactose, designed for their second anniversary and to mimic an arnold palmer, which we all love in the summer, sublime in the right context, and each is great by itself. its such a cool idea and definitely stands as its own entity as far as i am concerned. it has some nice bitter from the tea to balance the milk sugar in the sour. this is poured half and half, and it has the best of both worlds, the botanical, cold and refreshing brewed tea element with the tangy and summery lemon, fresh and natural on both sides and still with enough grain and body to feel like beer. it tastes good and it drinks easy enough to be refreshing. also, i have never seen anyone else do this sort of thing, which seems like an obvious thing, it works so well, and i think the execution is pretty first rate. so summery and fun, i like the creativity and the quality happening in here at colony, cool people too. definitely get this on the summer drinking list...
