Pours a nice mocha colored darker creamy head that fades at a med pace, 1 finger, nice lacing, super dark brown color with a touch ruby hue
Nose nice roasty stout, black malts, charred black malt with a little dark chocolate, little creamy sweet like malt note, and hints at bitter acrid roast
Taste brings more charred dark malts, roasty black malt with a bit of dark chocolate, mild creamy sweetness but not actually sweet just perception of sweet, charred almost acrid roast but not quite acrid, burnt malt, mild bitterness, perhaps a touch of lactose adding to the creamy perception, dry mild bitter finish
Mouth is med bod, soft creamy but a little light on the carbonation
Overall another really nice beer from this brewery, wish it was a bit more on the sweet or lactose creamy side for a real sweet stout, it's not really sweet just perception of sweet I think, nice dark malts though without overly bitter or acrid burnt characters, carbonation is a bit light too
