I have tasted this beer twice. Once at the brewery, and once from a can purchased from them. Both times I have enjoyed it immensely.
It pours a beautiful hazy yellow orange. The head was a creamy white, and from the glass, the aroma of Vanilla was so strong the expectation is a sweet dessert of a beer but upon tasting the Vanilla and hoppy bitterness are well balanced. I have tried some other beers of this style and none compare to the smoothness and taste of this one.

L -- Pours a milky orange haze with a finger of rocky white head that dissipates quite quickly, leaving no retention or lacing
S -- Vanilla, almond, orange creamsicle, green onion, sugar cookie, sweaty socks. The vanilla really dominates the hops here
T -- Like with the nose, the palate is dominated by vanilla. Hops come through pretty much only as a tea-like bitterness, with maybe a hint of grapefruit pith thrown in.
F -- Surprisingly dry and crisp, with a thin mouthfeel. Almost like a Brut IPA. Bit of a weird burn at the back of the throat as well
O -- Came into this with high expectations and unfortunately was not super impressed. Definitely nothing like the milkshake IPAs coming out of Tired Hands, etc.

I wasn't sure what to expect but, it's totally like dessert in a cup! So yummy! It smells very sweet but the taste was surprisingly perfect, definitely not too sweet! The only thing, is I think 1 would be more than enough, I couldn't drink more than that in one sitting.

Pours hazy, orange gold in color with half inch head. Smells like a vanilla candle. Taste is orange rind and big vanilla. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation and bitter. Easily the best beer from the brewery. Delicious, goes down too easily.

A milkshake IPA. On tap at the taproom.
Appearance is very hazy, glowing amber-orange, Minimal to no head.
Smell is strong vanilla frosting/cake, Vanilla-orange Julius, with a little Pineneedle.
Taste follows nose - robust vanilla cake badder with some pine resin.
Medium body, rich creamy smooth.
Overall, incredibly scrumptious. My favorite milkshake I've had to date. Well balanced and enough beer flavor here to maintain flavor balance as well. A perfect melding.
