I had a 0.33l bottle of this at Cafe Frape in Maastricht on 16SEP19. Cost was about €5.00, though that's a guess, as it was comped.... This particular bottle said the ABV was 11.0%.
It poured jet black; opaque, like motor oil. Had a creamy, drak beige head with good lace. Nose had some choco and dark fruit, though it was restrained. Medium bodied and a medium feel... solid.
Flavor had more dark choco, a bit of coffee, some dark fruit like raisins and dates, and a very light whiskey aspect in the background. A decent brew, all in all. Prosit!

The beer I liked. It is a complex beer, which evolves in a cup, in the mouth. A good quadruple, without being exellent, but not deceiving. Whiskey barrel is well integrated and gives quality to the product, although I think that with a good quadruple it is not necessary.
