"Wake up with this silky smooth, coffee inspired Imperial Milk Stout. Working with our friends at La Prima Espresso we carefully selected their Moka Java coffee to pair into this beer. We also added large amounts of belgian chocolate and Madagascar vanilla beans to round out the flavor profile. With rich notes of chocolate, molasses, lightly roasted coffee beans and a mild spiciness. This is a sultry elixir that can be enjoyed bright and early or into the night. The delicate balance between the Lactose sweetness and the roast plays out well to allow all colors to shine through the darkness"
This beer pours a very dark chocolate black with about a 2 inch bouquet of mocha foam. in a way it was a little over carbonated because they poured about a half glass of foam down the drain to get my pour. Smells of deep dark milk and semi sweet chocolate with a good amount of dark Folgers roast. Taste is much more refined but still retains a lot of that deep dark roast. To me I described it as founders breakfast Stout on steroids. Body was pretty smooth like a fresh cup of coffee with alcohol. Overall I really enjoyed the beer the only thing that set me back is the price tag costing about $8.50 for a pour
