Fermented with loads of sweet and tart cherries, tangerines and a healthy dose of fresh squeezed orange juice. We've also brought back lactose, adding a layer of sweetness to this fruit forward and crisply tart sour. The soft, creamy mouthfeel brings to mind a fresh summer sorbet, and at 4.4%, this sour ale is a great way to drink away the sunlight....

"Sour Ale Brewed with cherries, tangerines, orange juice and lactose."
Personally never had any of their gose style ales but it sounds like a winner. Poured into a pint glass. Well the cherries really added that fruity red color that I love which makes for a 1/2 inch of pink frothy foam. Smell is subtle but complex standard sour lemon and salty fanfare mixed with some fruity cherry and tangerine which I can clearly smell even though my smelling sucks. Taste is also nice not too sourly puckering but it does have a nice level of fruit juice flavors which balances with the tart base of the beer. In a way its perfectly balanced and not watery at all yet easy to crush. I love it...
Overall the body is light and with easy fruit to gose body this beer dare I say is the perfect summer brew. Picked it up at the Carson Street Deli for about 4 bucks so a bit pricey but to me one of the best fruit gose style beers I have had as of late. Try it!
