Had on tap at the brewery
On arrival under half a finger of white head sat on top of a hazy golden yellow beer.
Aroma is exactly like dried apricots with the sweetness and everything. Slight fermentation but the apricot dominates.
Taste is less sour than expected for a kettle sour. There's a vague tartness, but not anymore than fruit juice. A slightly watered down dry apricot flavor is again present before a fade into a light grainy flavor.
Feel is chuggable and dry. Certainly light, but not much more going on here than a fruited extra dry lager. Verging on flavored malt beverage.
Overall I want either more sour or more beer. This is obviously very fruity, but it isn't very sour. Since, in my mind at least, sour beers are in a category of their own, I either want it to be more grainy and beer-y, or more sour and pucker-y.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
