1/2 liter bottle - pours an viscous dark brown=black light defying brew in the glass with a smallish mocha cap that lasts - aromas are pungent with roast grains, dark dried fruit some fusel. Flavour follows imperials stouts fairly close with a lighter body and some calcium mellowing of natural acidity...light drying in the finish, lush roast astringency...nice impy stout, drinkable, a bit pricey.

Really dark brown color with mocha head. Aroma has chocolate, smoked malt and some dried plums. Taste starts with smoked peppers, roasted malts, continues with some dark chocolate and finishes with bitter coffee roastiness. Medium to light bodied with medium carbonation. Overall it's quite nice. Easy drinking for the ABV.

Brief impressions from a draught pour @ Monk's Kettle San Francisco.
Collaboration beer with Oxbow and Pizza Port.
Aroma is rich, with decadent notes of chocolate, brine, dark malt sweetness, and cream. Aromatic intensity is above average.
Taste is of chocolate malt and barely perceptible brine. I don't taste any mussels. Heavy malt sweetness.
Texture is smooth, wet, medium-bodied, well-carbonated, and of moderate thickness.
Overall it's drinkable and enjoyable but not as impressive as the best expressions of the style. I hoped for far better given the breweries behind it.
