Pours a light gold, straw coloration with a small, fizzy head. Smells of biscuity malt, wheat and tart green apple, with a hint of peach a swell. Taste follows the nose, with a really nice balance of biscuity malt, yeasty wheat, and mildly tart green apple, peach, citrus and white grape notes. Finishes with a very light, dry bitterness and some tartness lingering in the aftertaste. Medium body with medium/lively carbonation.
This is perhaps a slightly understated, but expertly balanced Berliner Weiße with a mild sourness, but great balance of biscuity malt, estery yeast, mild funk and hoppy fruitiness, which lends a certain complexity to this even if none of these elements stand out very much. At 3.5% ABV, I could drink this all day on a hot summer day,
