Pours a deep mahogany coloration with almost no head, just thin lacing that quickly disappears. Smells of dark, bready malt, smoke and dark fruit: fig, plum. Taste follows the nose, being dominated by dark, bready malt reminiscent of pumpernickel bread, smoke and dark fruit: fig, plum. There's also a light earthiness and just a hint of toffee, licorice and tobacco to this. Finishes with a light bitterness, light toffee sweetness and some smoke/tobacco lingering in the aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

Very nice although maybe slightly understated Smoke Beer that kinda suffers from a somewhat thin mouthfeel and slightly watery body, but makes up for it with a complex malt balance.
