Malty & kinda sour amber ale brewed with smoked malt, rye malt & 100 kilograms of black rye bread added directly to the mash, then fermented in a copper-clad cast iron open fermenter with a wild yeast strain and a sourdough yeast culture.

A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation that slowly rises to the surface. It poured with a half finger high off white head that quickly settled down, leaving a wide collar consisting of medium-sized bubbles around the edge fo the glass and a thin film covering the remainder of the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of sour rye bread are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and is moderately sour with notes of rye bread and faint hints of smoke towards the finish.
M: It feels a bit more than light-bodied and somewhat tart on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation—the rye bread adds a slight bit of body to the mouthfeel.
O: The taste has a good balance between the sourness and flavors of rye bread. It's surprisingly light in body for a beer that is brewed with bread (not like a bock), which makes it easy to drink.
