Pours black with two fingers of dense and hearty caramel-colored foam. Head retention is good. Aroma is roasty, toasty, bready malts with hearty molasses, toffee, coffee and chocolate. Malts are more grainy and raw up front and then smooth away on the backside. Flavor profile is dense chocolate, toffee, molasses, caramel, coffee and hearty roasty and toasty malts. Lightly sugar up front with a robust malty backbone that shines as the additives fade away. Mouth feel is thick and dense, forming a chewy, creamy texture. Overall, hearty, flavorful stout with additives adding a lot of additional complexities.
