Pours pitch black with three fingers of dense caramel colored foam. Fantastic start. Aroma is vanilla bean - full and heavy on the front end. Roasty and toasty malts lead to lactose sugar. Earthy and caramel show up a little lighter. As a whole, it does have a slight lean towards syrupy. Flavor profile is more roasty and toasty malts with smooth vanilla blended. Caramel and chocolate add to the flavor, creating a decadent taste. Mouth feel is medium in thickness. Texture is soft and creamy. Overall, a really nice decadence to this one. Vanilla is huge.
