Pours an opaque bright orange with a finger of white foam. Head retention is good, as is lacing. Aroma is pineapple, mango, tangerine, and papaya. Biscuity, bready malts follow. Flavor profile is tangerine, mango, pineapple, and guava. Very tropical fruit forward, but balanced. Biscuity, bready malts follow. Grapefruit rind lingers on the tongue a long while after each sip. This is very juicy, and one of BKS's best at time of consumption. Mouth feel is lightly chalky, leaving a little grit on the teeth after each sip. It has a medium thickness. Overall, a super NE IPA from this local brewery. Nice balance while still providing a hearty blast of tropical fruits.
