I received a can from @harrison8. Canning date not evident but it appears from Facebook to have been released at the end of October so it's a little over 2 months old. Poured into a pint glass. It pours a cloudy, light golden-straw color with a large, creamy, bright white cap and thick, long-lasting lacing. On the nose there is grapefruit and lemon, along with modest notes of melon and other tropical fruit, and a background of floral hops. The ale is earthy, piney, and spicy and I can taste the Nelson hops from the onset. The white wine grape flavor is subtle but effective. The sweetness emerges more at the back end and as it warms. There are hints of sweeter citrus from the Galaxy hops, which nicely balances the initial dry, bitter, and spicy taste. The flavors are highly complimentary. This ale has a very pleasant mouth feel and the 6.5% ABV makes it easily drinkable. In fact, I drained my pint before I knew it. Overall, Space Nelson is a very fine NEIPA from the heartland. BKS handled the Nelson hops deftly. I like this a lot!

Pours a pale yellow with an opaque-white transparency. Head is a finger of white foam. Aroma is earthy, tropical fruits with a zesty herbal finish. Storyline is mostly tropical fruits. Flavor profile is tropical fruits - papaya, mango, guava, and grapefruit - along with some zesty herbal, resiny hops. Bright start that gets grounded by biting hops pretty quickly. Mouth feel is smooth with a very fine crushed velvet texture. Thickness is medium. Overall, driving hops, but with enough dynamics to keep it interesting.

Draft.
