Appearance: a hazy baby-yellow body with a thin 1/4 finger white head that fades quickly to near nothing.
Aroma: underwhelming to say the least especially being DDH. There just isn't much there.
Flavor: the hops have a unique flavor - iced tea - is what I'm getting, and light skunk. "Skunk" not in a negative context...marijuana like. There is a light sweetness present. Not lactose or malt, but from the hops. There is almost a lemon flavor to complement the iced-tea alongside a slight bitter taste.
Mouthfeel: light(er)-medium. Lighter than expected give the 8.5% abv. You could easily drink several.
Overall: not too shabby, not too shabby at all, and I live in Denver with Weldwerks and Outer Range disto. Very good. I would buy BKS beer regularly given the opportunity. Absolutely worthwhile. Very good, but not cheap ($20 / 4pk).

Pours a murky orange akin to the skin of a fuzzy, ripening peach. Head is a finger in height and modest in retention. Aroma is nutty, earthy, bready malts with ripe peach, apricot, tangerine, papaya and mango. Flavor profile brings the tropical fruits further forward, twirling up a blend of apricot, peach, orange, mango and papaya. The nutty malts add a touch of base and support for the hops, but it's nearly all hops. Mouth feel is creamy with a soft effervescence. Overall, between the lightly creamy texture and the heavy tropical fruits, it creates a splendid, juicy experience.
