Pours an opaque glowing orange with a hint of white. Head is a finger of white snow on top, retention is decent. Aroma is strong papaya, grapefruit, tangerine and orange, hitting a pleasant balance between sweet and balanced. Flavor profile is papaya, grapefruit, tangerine, guava at the front with a bit of bready yeast at the back. Yeast tones back the initial hops for a slightly more balanced finish, although it still clearly leans towards the hops. There is a twinge of hop burn and stick at the back of the throat as the flavor profile recedes. Mouth feel is soft and pillowy with a light rind to it. It has a medium-thick consistency. Overall, tropical fruit heavy and quality throughout, although the light chalky, yeasty finish tones it down a touch.
