Pours a murky dull orange with a white hue. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is an onslaught of notes, with papaya, tangerine, mango, orange zest, lemon zest, passionfruit, and grassy, herbaly, semi-earthy notes all blasting through. Whereas some NE IPAs smell like you're walking past a citrus fruit smoothie shop, this one smells like you're standing just above the blender, twirling up some tropical fruit, vitamin c notes. Flavor profile is the same, hitting notes of mango, tangerine, papaya, orange zest, lemon zest, grassy, herbaly, and semi-earthy notes. Focus is really on the tropical fruits, which form 90% of the flavor profile (and aroma), with that final 10% showing the more diverse side of the hops. Mouth feel is thick with a semi gritty, effervescent texture throughout. Overall, this is one big bomb of a beer, smashing tropical fruits into the blender for a hearty side of citrus juice.

L: Very light for the ABV - yellow-gold and opaque. Thick, cream-colored head that collapses with delicate lacing.
S: Spicy - black and green pepper, with some citrus and malt when taking the full aroma in.
T: Initially sweet - lots of citrus-y fruits. It transitions to bell pepper, and lingers with some spicy alcohol burn.
F: Thick - as if it was pulpy (which it's not).
O: This beer could have easily been "being excessive for being excessive's sake", but it's well-balanced for the ABV.
Can purchased from the brewery 6/27/2020.
