Pours an opaque pale orange with three fingers of fluffy white foam. Aroma is thick tropical fruits, ticking notes of papaya, tangerine, and mango along the way. Fruity yeast sits just behind. It's hop driven. Flavor profile is back to hops immediately, combing papaya, tangerine, mango, and orange zest. It's rindy, but never is too rich. A little abrasive at the finish bringing a little extra green hop forward. Mouth feel is medium-thick with an underlying creamy texture that brings with it a little sharp grit. Overall, thick and full NE IPA that loads up on tropical fruits and rinds.

L: Pours a light gold that has about the same opacity as orange juice; moderate lacing.
S: Faint bubblegum-like esters.
T: As is typical with BKS IPAs, a slightly-sweet citrus up front, with a rind-like bitterness after a moment. Well-balanced.
F: Light and slightly tangy on the palate, finishes with a mix of malt sweetness and a slight resin-y bitterness.
O: This beer is described as a "Comfy IPA" on the can ; while I'm not exactly sure what *that* style should taste like, this isn't a bad place to start.
Can purchased from the brewery 9/26/2020.
