This BKS Pacific Specific variant pours an opaque gold, with an 1” head that slowly collapses. Large amounts of delicate lacing. The aroma is a mixture of pine, green pepper, and citrus. The taste follows up on what the smell promises by providing a mix of pine resin, pepper notes, and grapefruit-like citrus. The feel is smooth initially, but doesn’t provide quite as mellow of an aftertaste that this line frequently has.
Overall, this is an enjoyable beer, but is *just* short of being the sum of its parts.
