(review from December 2021) See previous reviews of various versions of BKS Double Double, this iteration w/the same good balance/haze/mouthfeel; nice hoppy bite; a big citrusy/grapefruity/slightly herbalish flavor & a lovely lingering, resiny finish. Very dangerously quaffable!

Pours a pale opaque yellow with a finger of white foam. Aroma is juicy papaya, tangerine, and light green. Big time tropical fruits. Flavor profile brings forward the same heavy citrus focus with notes of papaya, grapefruit, and tangerine. Some light green notes late. Mouth feel is fuzzy, pillowy, and plush. Thickness is medium-thick. Overall, a ripe juicy NE IPA loaded from front to back with flavor.

Milky pale orange haze. Nose is ripe pineapple, faint mango, and assertive pithy bitterness. Taste is pineapple chunks, orange rind, and mango juice with a huge blast of pine. Creamy, chewy mouthfeel. Big lingering bitterness. Goes down way too easy.

There's a lot of juice in this Double Double variant - both in the aroma and the flavor. Mango, pineapple, grapefruit...and some bubblegum and bitter orange peel as well. Pours opaque (about the color of grapefruit juice).
