Pours a gold color with a hint of orange tint. Very light fog to the translucency. Head is three fingers of white foam. Aroma is a slice of citrus - tangerine, orange rind, and melon. Sly spicy hops add some zest and texture to the hop profile. Doughy and bready malts round it out. Flavor profile follows the nose - delivering a slice of citrus with spicy hops after. Doughy and bready malts. Finishes on spicy and mild herbal hops. Dries out slightly at that finish. Mouth feel is medium-thin in thickness with a soft crispness for texture. Overall, refreshing and plump pale ale with good hop play and dryness.
Served in a 15.5oz Spiegelau tulip from a 16oz can. Reviewed from notes.
