Pours an opaque bright yellow with two fingers of dense white foam atop. Aroma is grapefruit, orange zest, mango, and melon with a sliver of bready, earthy malt behind. Flavor profile is led by hops, coming by way of grapefruit, orange zest, mango, melon, and earthy, with yeasty bread malts as the backup. Storyline is dominated by hops, with malts only peeping through at the very end. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a light chalky, rindy grit to it. Overall, big time hops with some mild malt play. It's never overly sweet, striking a more firm balance between hops and malts than a NE IPA (despite looking like a NE IPA.)
