Pours a deep orange with an opaque translucency. Head is three fingers of off-white foam with great retention. Aroma is red berry, grapefruit, orange zest, mango, and tangerine. A little more grassy and green than most of their heavy NE IPAs. Doughy malts out at the end. Flavor profile is grapefruit, red berry, mango, and orange zest. Doughy malts poke through right at the end. Heavy fruity yeast on the back. Hints of grass at the finish as the tropical fruits fade away. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a creamy texture. Overall, a heavy, creamy DIPA with some big hop play that isn't just sweet, but also a touch sticky.
