Pours an opaque orange with a bright hue. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is popping tropical fruits - papaya, mango, tangerine, and guava, with hints of grassy and dank hops behind. Focal point is tropical fruits, with a little playfulness beyond. Flavor profile is grapefruit, tangerine, guava, papaya, mango, and a little melon rind, alongside resiny, grassy, and faint dank notes. Hops jam packed and squeezed into every gram of this one. Finish is a little more dry than most NE IPAs, pulling the focal point away from tropical fruits right at the end. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a moderate effervescence that feels expansive, and slightly gritty on the tongue. Overall, big time hop notes which allow tropical fruits to shine, but turn their focal point towards the end, adding some intriguing dynamics.
