Labeled as 'Double Pale Ale' on the can.
Pours an opaque pale orange with some white to it. Head is two fingers of white foam. Aroma is tropical fruits first - papaya, mango, tangerine, melon, and clementine. Grassy hops finalize the hop notes, with biscuity, bready malts sweeping in at the back. Flavor profile is grapefruit, mango, melon, tangerine, and orange zest with some grassy, lightly resiny hops at the back. Malts are more obscured here, hitting light notes of biscuity, bready, and light caramel. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a very mild effervescence and light gritty, pulp texture. Overall, balance between hops and malts are great, with the former having the focus. It does come across lighter bodied than their other IPAs, but is still a touch heavy to truly be 'sessionable', making the closest comparison - weight wise - to American IPAs of ~2015. Interesting, and novel, dynamic in 2021.
Served in a 16oz stemless wine glass from a 16oz can.
