Homage to Rodney Beagle, a KC area brewer who lost his life. His brewery brewed the original ' Shuttle Hop' beer.
Pours a completely opaque pale orange with two fingers of white foam. Aroma is lively and electrical tropical fruits - papaya, tangerine, mango, and orange, with neon hits of lime, grass, and resin hops. It's as electric as a rave lightshow. Melon rind adds a little further substance and grounds it a touch. Flavor profile is nearly the same, feeding tropical fruits out first - tangerine, mango, papaya, and grapefruit. Orange zest, grassy, and herbal hops add a little extra depth. It's not quite as punchy as the nose, but still extremely lively. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a very mild level of grit to it. Overall, a punchy, hearty son-of-a-gun. Tropical fruits, with some green hop notes behind that add to the punch and panache.
Served in a 16oz stemless wine glass from a 16oz can.
