Poured from fridge temp into a teku. Pours a gorgeous hazy orange/yellow with white head. Good lacing on the glass for quite a while.
Nose: Wow - this really jumps out of the glass. Tons of tropical fruits. Pineapple, coconut, mango. Fresh grapefruit. A tree sap note is there, but light. This just screams fresh fruit! There is a dank weed note that starts to emerge after a few minutes. The nose is really intense. Really can't wait to take the first sip.
Taste: Definitely not as intense as the nose, but really wonderful. Still getting some nice pineapple, tangerine, grapefruit, and cannabis. There is much more of an earthy note compared to the nose. Grass, dirt, wheat, pine, and wood. This combines to balance the sweetness of the fruit. In the end, it strikes a great balance, and the aftertaste is definitely a mix of bitter and sweet. Really smooth.
Mouthfeel and overall: The mouthfeel is fairly light, making this an easy and refreshing sipper. Overall, I'm really excited to try something from this brewery. I love the vibrant nose and smooth taste. Excellent beer!
