Burnt Ends pours a yellow-orange, completely opaque. An off white head forms and slowly dissipates. Moderate lacing. The aroma has tropical citrus and only a hint of resin. The taste is also similarly juice-forward, with some bitter orange and grapefruit a moment or two later. The mouthfeel is very smooth, and finishes slightly warming.

Pours an opaque orange that is consistent in color throughout. Head is two fingers of white foam, with great retention. Aroma is big-time tropical fruits right up front. Papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, melon, and rindy orange mingle with a tiny bit of dank, resiny hops. It smells thick and full, resting at a solid 9 out of 10 volume for the entire whiff, no change in volume, when one note decays, another immediately replaces it. Flavor profile is a little bit more nuanced, but still leans heavily into tropical fruits - tangerine, grapefruit, orange, guava, and a little bit of melon. Some resiny, dank hops coming through, but it centers up much more so on tropical fruits with some residual sugar. Big time sweetness, as is the case with a well caramelized burnt end. Mouth feel is full and thick with a little silty grit throughout. Overall, a big and full IPA, jam packed with hop notes in every crevice.
