Pours a pale yellow, almost straw color. Completely opaque and cloudy, but avoids appearing thick. Lovely thick, pillowy white head forms on the beer and shows excellent head retention.

Aroma has notes of melon, cantaloupe, tropical fruit, orange, and mango giving way to a more piney finish.

Taste has notes of pine, melon, canteloup, orange and mango. More pine and a touch of woody hop notes come through on the back end. A tad sweet for the style, but not overly so. A touch of a hop burn on the back end.

Feel is medium bodied, a bit rough around the edges, with moderate carbonation.

Overall this is a nice IPA. The strong pine character in a NE style IPA like this is enjoyable. Just comes across a bit rough around the edges from the hop burn to the kind of rough mouthfeel.

Pours an opaque pale orange-yellow with a finger of dense snow-white foam atop. Aroma is pine, resin, herbal, and light medicinal and tropical fruits. It leans into that sappy, resiny, pine tree notes. Despite the list of descriptors being sticky and associated with bitter, this IPA lands more in the neutral territory for sweetness. Flavor profile is pine, resin, zesty, grassy, and tropical fruits. It's hops in every direction, but leans into the pine and resiny notes. There is a touch of medicinal hop on the back that sticks around with a mild hop burn finish. Mouth feel is creamy after the initial grit. It has an uneven bubbly texture that feels like soft nettles on the tongue. Thickness is medium. Overall, it's exactly as the name implies - sipping on a pine tree. There is a little bit more depth than just pine, which helps add some versatility.
