Pours a straw color that's obscured by a light haze. Head is two and a half fingers of fluffy white foam. Aroma is bright evergreen and pine hops right on the cusp, with tempered tropical fruits and peach beyond. Soft bite via the piney and evergreen hops, but it's smoothed out at the finish. Flavor profile is the same as the nose, but a little more intertwined. It delivers piney, evergreen notes alongside mango, peach, and orange zest. There is a glimpse at bready and biscuity malts behind, but the storyline is hops. Mouth feel is medium in thickness with a soft crispness throughout. Finish leans into dry, with light chalk lingering after the finish. Overall, a refreshing pale ale that pushes hops to the focal point, without the extra alcohol that accompanies many hop-forward beers. It may be more hop forward than standard pale ales, but it is decidedly less-so than an IPA. The crisp texture on this one along with the intertwined hops keep this one drinking refreshing enough to serve as a hearty lawnmower beer, but also flavorful enough to be a sipping option post-dinner.

Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 16oz can.
